| Activities | 1. Mobilise various forces in society, including PHA to initiate various activities – psychological support, care and services for PHA. Provide knowledge about care and treatment for PHA and their friends and family. Help them to solve individual problems. 2. Use the media to call for the whole society to pay attention to and safeguard the legal rights of PHA and their friends and families, to prevent stigma and prejudice. 3. Promote the widespread knowledge of AIDS prevention amongst high risk groups and health education activities related to AIDS in order to raise self-protection awareness among the general public. 4. Edit and publish magazines and books, promotional materials and audio-visual materials on AIDS prevention. 5. Operate a service hotline and establish an AIDS website to provide knowledge and field enquiries on AIDS for the general public. 6. Undertake requests and support from groups overseas and at home to organize activities that adhere to the principles of Beijing’s Red Ribbon Home. |
