What can I do?
Faced with a rapidly growing epidemic, many people ask themselves "What Can I do to help?"This is a difficult question. Unlike in many countries, there are very few truly independent groups in China working to slow the spread of HIV or help those with AIDS. There are, however, many semi-independent groups, often attatched to a government body or run by those who leave government bodies out of frustration at the bureacratic nature of "official" programs. We are currently working with other groups to compile a list of groups (both foreign and Chinese) doing effective work on HIV/AIDS in China, in the hope that donations and other help can be sent directly to those groups.
